Coming from collecting baseball and football as I do, what I know of the Artifacts line was from 2005 and 2006 baseball and the retooling of that same design in 2007 for football. The product apparently is still going strong in hockey, as it is the second product being released for the 2010-11 hockey season. For the most part, Artifacts has had a decent, classic design without any strange graphical …Read the Rest

Field Level Preview: 2009-10 Upper Deck The Cup Hockey

It’s an ultra-premium product with an ultra-premium price, and like most high-end …Read the Rest
Field Level Review: 2009-10 Upper Deck ICE
I said it in the preview, and I’ll say it again here. Upper Deck consistently puts more detail and passion into many of their hockey cards than they do their other sports. I was pleased with the preview images I had, and then the box of cards came in, and …Read the Rest

Thanks to the folks at Upper Deck I had the chance to open a box of 2009-10 Upper Deck ICE Hockey. As usual, everything in the box is available as per the rules at the top of the page. I really kind of like this product, especially the acetate cards. …Read the Rest
Box Break: 2009 Upper Deck Signature Stars
The final box I received from Upper Deck was one of 2009 Signature Stars. I wasn’t all that enamored of this product when I got my box for review, simply because of the heavy reliance on Team USA for the hits in the product. The second box ended up about …Read the Rest
