I’m kicking around the idea of doing a group break.  I want to do something that isn’t too expensive, but also something that we might see something really neat out of.  I have a few ideas, but wanted to get input from everyone.

1)  2009 Upper Deck Ultimate Football (Approx $40/team for a 15-box case)

2)  2010 Topps Finest Baseball (Approx $28/team for a case, or about $50/2 teams)

3)  2009 Topps Unique Football (Approx $42/team for 10 box case)

4)  2009 Upper Deck Ultimate Baseball (Approx $60/team for 15 box case)

Could also do smaller breaks of the others.  These’d also be sponsored by Blowout, so it might be cheaper.  I’d want the interest ahead of time, and I know a lot of people are already doing breaks.  Anyway, if people are interested, leave a comment, and if I can get 20 people interested quickly enough, say within a week, then I’ll pursue it.  Otherwise, I’ll hold off until the site is floating about 200-250 visitors a day.

Would the teams be randomly picked or would the people involved get to choose the team?

I’d be leaning towards random draw (Random.org x3) and then allow team trading. On the Ultimate (if that product was chosen), it was suggested that we go with slots instead of teams, although that’d raise the price by … quite a bit since it’s 1 hit / box I think..
