Just got my hobby box of 1997 Bowman Series II, with a shot at getting a Berkman RC (which is what I want the best). 24 packs, 10 cards a pack. Paid: About $34 via Ebay.
Other big ‘hits’ are Miguel Tejada’s RC, and various autographs including, apparently, a Jeter one with a BV of $150, and autographs of Vladimir Guerrero, Scot Rolen, JOse Cruz Jr and others. Other RCs include Kerry Wood, Eric Chavez, Vernon Wells, Roy Halladay. Also included are various Bowman’s International Best, Refractors and Atomic Refractors. I’m not sure if there are any guaranteed hits, to be honest.
The packs are pretty, with nice gold foil and a picture of Vlad (in an Expos uniform!). And away we go!
