Topps has done a pretty decent job over the past few years of taking Finest each year and tweaking it, adding just enough changes from year to year to keep it fresh and interesting. That isn’t to say that they’ve not had mis-steps along the way, but they’ve usually corrected those with time. With 2012 Topps Finest Baseball coming next month, most of the updates seem to be things from the past with die-cut cards and rookie redemptions, although there is a new insert series to chase in the set this time.
