Coming out in about a week is 2012 Bowman Platinum baseball. Now, I actually like how Bowman Platinum looks as a set, especially compared to Bowman and Bowman Chrome. That said, there are some very confusing things about this — such as how Bowman Platinum offers on-card autos while the more expensive Bowman Sterling remains with partial sticker autos. Also there’s how Platinum (which isn’t that much more expensive than Bowman/Chrome) offers three hits per box compared to one for Bowman/Chrome/Draft (not counting HTA here). That said, let’s see what this year’s version has in store for us!
