Field Level Preview: 2011 Playoff Contenders Football

With the NFL season winding down, so too comes the ending of the NFL collecting season.  Panini has one of the final products up (releasing today) with 2011 Playoff Contenders, which should feature one of the best base autos of the year with the Contenders Cam Newton rookie card.  While Panini is bringing back the Golden Tickets, they’re also adding a number of new twists to the product including 1-of-1 Front Row Tickets, On-’Card’ RPS Rookie 1-of-1 Printing Plates and on-card Rookie Ink to go with the four autographs (two on-card) per box.   Much of the information below consists of educated guesses based on the 2010 product and may change.

Release Date: February 10, 2011
Price Point: Approximately $6 per pack or $135 per box at Blowout Cards.
Product Loadout: 5 cards per pack, 24 packs per box, 12 boxes per case.
