When this set was first announced, there was some consternation over the price and loadout which has since been adjusted by Panini. While it is not the first set released by Panini or even really their flagship, the Donruss name carries a certain weight and it’s being used to promote a solid-looking mid-level product, and being ‘Donruss’, it has the Rated Rookies subset again, which is the first time this has been seen in a number of years.
